Walnut River

So, this is the Walnut River in El Dorado.  The river is slightly up here…normally you can see rocks going across the whole river.  This is a hugely popular fishing spot, and quite a nice spot to take pictures.  El Dorado Lakes’s spillway empties into this river, and when there’s been a ton of rain, the level of the water shoots up.  The highest I’ve ever seen it is about 6 inches below the roof of the bridge.  This is a very photogenic place.  I’ll probably post more pictures from this location.

  1. I can see your blog is going to give me itchy feet, I’m going to have to try and turn into some kind of inspiration 🙂

  2. Oh wow! That is so flattering! Thank you so much! It makes me very happy to know that I can inspire something in someone. 😀
